Software Engineer

Your team Pictet Asset Management manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Software Engineer for our Equities department. Our goal is to build innovative tools that transform complex sustainability data into actionable insights for responsible financial decisions. As an early, high-impact member of the team, you will take ownership of architecting and building these intuitive, end-to-end systems. Your role Designing, building and maintaining end-to-end web applications, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.Implementing agentic AI capabilities into content tools and drive adoption of AI workflows and best practices.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design intuitive high-quality UIs that make complex data easy to understand and navigate. Your profile Proven experience in building a great product or 7+ years of professional experience.Early adopter of agentic engineering practices, with a strong grasp of the current AI ecosystem (frameworks, tooling, and workflows).Strong full-stack fundamentals: React, TypeScript/JavaScript on the frontend; Python and REST/GraphQL APIs on the backend; SQL and NoSQL databases.Hands-on experience deploying and operating solutions end-to-end (ideally in AWS), including data ingestion, transformation, and serving, with solid practices around testing, versioning, and observability.Entrepreneurial drive and a sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to quickly ramp up on new domains, tools, and techniques through self-learning.Fluent in English.Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
