Outpost24 is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic and collaborative development team in Leuven! In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust and scalable full‑stack applications that power our cyber security solutions. You will work across the frontend using Angular and the backend using Python, ensuring both feature delivery and the long‑term maintainability, scalability, and architectural quality of our applications. As a Full Stack Developer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop user‑friendly, responsive, and scalable UIs using Angular, with strong focus on frontend architecture, performance, and long‑term maintainability.Design, develop, and deploy efficient and maintainable Python backend services.Ensure clean, reusable, and testable code that follows best practices and coding standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Work closely with UX designers: follow design guidelines, validate user flows, and proactively propose improvements to usability, consistency, and user experience.Use AI‑assisted development tools, including critically review, refine, and take full ownership of generated code.Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.Participate in architectural discussions and propose innovative solutions to improve product quality and developer efficiency. What type of experience do we expect from our ideal candidate? Must Have: 5+ years of software development experience.Proficiency in a JavaScript framework (preferably Angular), including structured frontend architectures and scalable component/module design.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Experience working with databases (preferably PostgreSQL).Proficiency in version control systems (preferably Git) .Interested in AI-assisted development, with the ability to confidently review and take ownership of generated code.Strong communication and collaboration abilities in English, as a primary corporate language.As a person you are analytical, great at problem-solving and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment!Nice to have have: Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka and/or RabbitMQBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Interest in graphic design and UX design is a plus.
