You will combine hands-on development with technical leadership – helping to define direction, guide decisions, and strengthen the capabilities of the team. You will work closely with developers, designers, and domain experts to build solutions that connect embedded systems with modern cloud platforms. Working Tasks & Responsibilities Take technical ownership of selected products and solutions across embedded and desktop applicationsDefine and communicate architectural direction, technical principles, and best practicesAct as a sparring partner and mentor for developers in the teamUse modern AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to support implementation, refactoring, test creation, and documentation.Contribute actively to design, development, and code reviewsEnsure high standards for code quality, performance, and testability Technologies and ways of working You will work hands-on with modern tools and technologies, including: JavaScript / TypeScriptVue.js 3 (Vite, Pinia, Tailwind, Quasar)Node.js and cloud-based servicesMQTT, event-driven architecture, and microservicesRESTful APIs and automated testing (Playwright, Vitest, pytest) Your profile Relevant educational background in software development or similar5–7+ years of experience as a software developerStrong interest in combining hands-on development with technical leadershipExperience working with modern frontend and/or cloud-based technologiesAble to communicate fluently in Danish and English Why join DEIF?
