Junior Full-Stack Engineer

Role Description We are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Engineer to help build our web applications across the frontend, API, and data layers. You will work mainly in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, alongside product, design, and engineering. You will start with clearly scoped tasks and take on larger features as your confidence grows, with regular guidance and code review from experienced engineers.You do not need experience with every technology in our stack. We hire for fundamentals, curiosity, and how quickly you learn. Qualifications: Around 1–2 years of professional experience, including internships or equivalent practical workSolid JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentalsWorking knowledge of React or another modern frontend frameworkA basic understanding of Node.js, REST APIs, and HTTPSome exposure to PostgreSQL or another relational databaseEvidence that you can build software through professional work, internships, university, bootcamp, freelance, or personal projectsFamiliarity with Git-based workflows and automated testingGenuine openness to AI-assisted development, including daily use of agentic coding tools such as Claude Code CLI or Codex CLI, as well as AI frameworks within the productThe judgment to properly review AI-generated code and explain anything you submitStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailComfort asking questions, receiving feedback, and acting on itClear written and spoken English Job descriptions: Build and improve product features using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.jsCreate responsive, accessible user interfacesHelp build and integrate REST APIs using ExpressModel and query relational data with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORMValidate data at application boundaries using ZodWrite unit and integration tests with support from the teamInvestigate bugs and ship fixes that stand the test of timeUse AI coding tools such as Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI in your daily workflow, and critically review their outputWork with AI frameworks and APIs as we build AI-driven capabilities into the productTake part in code reviews, technical discussions, and deploymentsTake on more ownership as your skills and product knowledge grow PaySR is building a payment-provider orchestration platform that helps businesses integrate, manage, and switch between payment services without rebuilding their systems each time.
