Role DescriptionThe Software Engineer / Junior Developer is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and improving software applications based on business and technical requirements. The role involves writing clean and maintainable code, participating in application development activities, troubleshooting software issues, performing code reviews, and supporting system enhancements. The position works closely with developers, analysts, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions. The role also includes learning new technologies, following development standards, documenting technical work, and contributing to continuous improvements in software quality and development processes. QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or PHP.Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.Understanding of web development concepts, APIs, and client-server architecture.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.Basic understanding of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting practices.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-structured code.Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
