Platform Integration and DevOps Engineer

About the Role We are seeking a technically strong Platform Integration & DevOps Engineer to mature Azupay’s operational infrastructure, line-of-business platforms such as HubSpot and Jira, and our data platform, building integrations and automations across AWS that connect our systems and reduce toil. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone comfortable wearing different hats, working with a range of internal and client stakeholders, and as comfortable doing strategy and engineering work as helping out on the service desk. You’ll support production operations, build and maintain CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, automate infrastructure lifecycle and compliance tasks, speed up service desk outcomes via Jira automations, and keep IAM and access secure by default. Working across engineering, risk and support teams, you’ll help embed reliability and security into everything we do. Main Duties & Responsibilities DevOps & Cloud Operations Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC (CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform preferred).Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, release procedures and deployment automation.Support and automate our data platform from a DevOps perspective, building and maintaining its infrastructure, deployment pipelines and operational tooling.Monitor cloud operations, logs and platform health; manage and tune the monitoring/alerting stack (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty) and improve signal-to-noise.Build observability into the systems you ship so issues are caught early and debugged fast.Build self-service capabilities for provisioning, onboarding and routine operational tasks.Participate in the on-call roster for urgent issues and out-of-hours break/fix. Integration Engineering (build) Design, build and ship integrations and automation components, primarily AWS Lambdas, that connect HubSpot, Jira, MVSI and our core platform into coherent, automated workflows.Work with the APIs, webhooks and OAuth2 / token-based auth of our SaaS platforms; handle pagination, rate limits, retries, idempotency and error handling so integrations are reliable, not brittle.Build event-driven workflows using AWS-native services (EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, API Gateway), including dead-letter handling and replay for failed events.Own the software hygiene of what you build: version control, testing (unit and integration), code review, structured logging and tracing, and clean deployment of code.Use AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery, while applying the review, testing and secure-handling rigor expected of code that touches a real-time payments platform. Identity & Platform Administration Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including hybrid identities, group-based access control and conditional access policies.Design and apply RBAC and least-privilege access across AWS, Entra and integrated SaaS platforms.Manage secrets and secure federated access for internal and third-party services. Secure by Default Build to the ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls our Cyber team owns, and help automate compliance-control validation and audit evidence.Handle credentials, secrets and APIs securely as a matter of course (AWS Secrets Manager or similar).Support incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure and platform issues, and flag security concerns to the Cyber team early. Support & Enablement Help keep the Jira service desk moving, picking up L2/L3 tickets related to infrastructure, platform and integration issues when the queue needs a hand.Build Jira automations that speed up service outcomes and reduce manual toil.Assist internal teams with technical integration and infrastructure provisioning. Skills & Experience 3+ years in cloud/platform engineering, DevOps or SRE, ideally in fintech or regulated SaaSStrong AWS and DevOps skills (Lambda, IaC, CI/CD)A track record building integrations and automations, not just scriptsExperience with Microsoft Entra ID and a secure-by-default mindset
