Description

We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our global delivery team in a fully remote working mode. In this role, you will lead initiatives to design, optimize, and automate AWS infrastructure supporting critical platforms for a leading global financial market infrastructure provider. You will work at the intersection of cloud engineering and DevOps, building secure, scalable environments while improving CI/CD automation, monitoring, and performance. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and drive cost-optimized, resilient cloud solutions across international markets. Responsibilities Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows for various application landscapes and maximize process automation Design and execute AWS workload migrations ensuring scalable and secure deployments Build and manage AWS environments leveraging services like EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda Define and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation Support cross-functional teams in implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and operational best practices Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, and optimization strategies using AWS CloudWatch or third-party tools Ensure solutions follow security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, and network isolation measures Fine-tune architectures for cost, performance, and operational resilience Oversee release processes ensuring smooth deployments with zero-downtime principles Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency and application reliability Requirements 5+ years of experience designing and supporting scalable AWS cloud environments in production Strong knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, and API Gateway Expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Load Balancers) and security frameworks Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog) Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation Knowledge of cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with global teams English proficiency B2 level or higher Nice to have Hands-on experience with AI-powered cloud services such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI Exposure to AI-driven automation and coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode) Advanced knowledge of Go or Python for cloud-native application development Container vulnerability scanning and advanced DevSecOps best practices We offer Competitive compensation depending on experience and skillsVariety of projects within one companyBeing a part of a project following engineering excellence standardsIndividual career path and professional growth opportunitiesInternal events and communitiesFlexible work hours
