Role Description As a React Native Mobile Application Developer at Salonista, you will design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications that power our beauty and wellness marketplace.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience on both iOS and Android devices.
Your day-to-day work will include writing clean and reusable code, integrating APIs, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, and participating in code reviews.
You will also contribute to improving app reliability, implementing best practices in mobile development, and supporting deployments and updates.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript for building cross-platform mobile applications.Experience with mobile app architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and RESTful API integration.Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, and working with design tools or specifications (e.g., Figma, Sketch).Familiarity with native Android and iOS concepts, app store deployment processes, and performance optimization techniques.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Understanding of testing frameworks and practices for mobile applications (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).Ability to troubleshoot issues, debug complex problems, and write maintainable, well-documented code.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or BeautyTech platforms is a plus, as well as prior work in fast-paced startup environments.
