On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Software Developer Engineer for a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities
You will:
Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable code involving multiple technologies, including React Native, TypeScript, Go, Java/Kotlin, and AWS, delivering well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions with a customer-centric mindset.Develop prototypes rapidly to solve complex problems.Leverage modern AI-powered development tools to deliver faster while maintaining quality and security standards.Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts to achieve outstanding customer experiences.Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of software systems, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.Contribute to code reviews, sprint rituals, hiring, and mentoring.Report to the Engineering Manager of the USA Regional Experiences team.
Qualifications
You have:
Strong computer science, web, and native app fundamentals, with knowledge of design patterns.4+ years of software development experience.2+ years of React or React Native development experience.Professional experience with one of the following programming languages:TypeScriptJavaScriptKotlinJavaGoKnowledge of basic architecture, systems design, and Agile practices.Excellent collaboration skills.
