The successful candidate will work closely with application, security, networking, storage, and DevOps teams to deliver resilient container platforms in on-premises, hybrid-cloud, and public-cloud environments.
You can expect to
Design and implement production-grade OpenShift Container Platform environments across bare metal, virtualized infrastructure, and supported cloud platforms.Lead or support cluster installation, expansion, configuration, upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and disaster-recovery readiness.Engineer highly available control-plane, infrastructure, ingress, compute, and storage-node topologies aligned with workload and failure-domain requirements.Integrate OpenShift with enterprise networking, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, proxies, registries, identity providers, PKI, secrets-management, and storage platforms.Configure and troubleshoot cluster networking, routes, ingress controllers, network policies, service connectivity, certificates, and east-west/north-south traffic flows.Implement platform security controls, including RBAC, Security Context Constraints, compliance profiles, image governance, vulnerability management, audit logging, and cluster hardening.Build repeatable platform deployment and operational workflows using Ansible, GitOps, Terraform, Helm, operators, and CI/CD pipelines.Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, capacity management, backup, recovery, and operational runbooks using enterprise observability tooling.Diagnose complex incidents involving etcd, operators, nodes, containers, networking, storage, performance, scheduling, and platform dependencies.Produce architecture documents, implementation plans, configuration standards, as-built documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials; mentor client and internal teams.

Required Qualifications
Five or more years of Linux infrastructure experience, including at least three years of hands-on OpenShift or Kubernetes platform engineering in enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of supported OpenShift 4.x releases, operators, Machine Config, cluster lifecycle, oc/kubectl administration, and core Kubernetes concepts.Deep practical understanding of Linux, containers, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls, routing, and software-defined networking.Experience integrating enterprise storage through CSI; familiarity with block, file, object, and software-defined storage patterns.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot high-impact production issues methodically and communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders.Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, scripting, source control, and automated delivery practices.Ability to create clear technical documentation and lead workshops, design reviews, and knowledge-transfer sessions.Professional working proficiency in French; English is required for collaboration with clients, vendors, and technical teams outside Quebec.
Preferred Assets
Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Red Hat Certified OpenShift Application Developer.Experience with Advanced Cluster Management, Advanced Cluster Security, OpenShift Data Foundation, Quay, Service Mesh, GitOps, or Pipelines.Experience with Portworx, NetApp, Pure Storage, VMware, KVM, Azure, AWS, or disconnected/restricted-network installations.Consulting experience and exposure to regulated, security-sensitive, or large-scale environments.

Success Profile
A pragmatic and accountable engineer who combines technical depth with sound judgment, communicates risks early, collaborates across disciplines, and leaves environments more stable, secure, automated, and supportable than they found them.
