Position Summary: We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to work inside the Platform team, to manage a mixture of services both on and off the cloud, primarily running on Kubernetes. You will report into the DevOps Lead and support a mixture of software and services. This is a fully remote role, and we welcome applications from anywhere in Europe. More details: crystalintelligence.com Duties and responsibilities: Manage (and build) projects and hybrid infrastructureConfigure and maintain internal servicesBuild and maintain monitoring systemsBuild and deploy environmentsDrive bare-metal deploymentDrive performance and integration testingImprove the current infrastructure Required: Continuous experience in DevOps/IT system administration for more than 4 yearsKnowledge and practical experience with deployment and administration of Unix/Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/Centos)Good understanding of common IT security practicesExperience in building and maintaining hybrid infrastructuresExperience implementing CI/CD (Github actions a plus)Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Saltstack, etc.)Experience with virtualisation and containerisation toolsAbility to perform root cause analysis for production errorsFamiliarity with ISO 27001, SOC2 requirements and CIS benchmarksWorking knowledge of databases and clustering (SQL, NoSQL)Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform, IaC, PaCK8s experience, deploying, testing and managing a clusterProficient understanding of GitExperience with log management toolsGood skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python etc.)Experience with application & infrastructure monitoring in production environmentGood understanding of a software development process, everyday duties will include cooperation with both SW development and QA teamsKnowledge and practical experience in Advanced Networking including building and supporting local and global networks, ACLs, firewalls, VPN tunnels, advanced routingAvailability to be on call 24/7 (only in case of a disaster) Would be a plus: Experience with AWS/GCP stack will be an advantageExperience with Microsoft 365 stack will be an advantage Tech stack: Languages: Terraform, Python, Kubernetes YAMLDatabase: PostgreSQLPlatform: Talos, Proxmox
