As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with technical and business teams to support building, implementing, and operating regulatory systems. These systems must align with telecommunications legislation and national interest requirements. What You’ll Do Assist senior engineers in delivering end-to-end solutions across the technology lifecycle, from development through to operationsContribute to highly available, secure, and scalable systems, maintaining reliability of critical regulatory platformsPartner with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government and law enforcement agencies, to support solution delivery and operationsParticipate in security risk assessments and help maintain security architecture in regulated environmentsSupport continuous improvement through modern engineering practices, automation, and evolving technologies What You Bring Experience in full stack, end to end, systems support, including infrastructure build and operateLinux experience (essential)Virtualization (Proxmox) and Kubernetes (Rancher) experienceSoftware development using:Go (essential)Rust (familiarity, desire to develop the skillset is essential)Python (desired, not essential)Gitlab CICD and SDLCExperience leveraging modern cloud native builds, tooling and patterns in an entirely on-premises environment. E.g. Terraform, Ansible, Packer etcDatacenter experience including the installation and maintenance of server, network and storageStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsRelevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering; cybersecurity certifications are an advantage The good stuff….
