Description

Join Vayle Vayle is a Canadian technology company transforming how the public sector manages information access and privacy compliance. Our platform supports municipalities, police services, and government institutions across Canada in meeting complex legislative and regulatory requirements. Recent changes to information access and privacy legislation have created real momentum for the business. We're adding a Full Stack Software Developer to expand our technical capacity and deepen our customer engagement work. This role sits at the intersection of software development and customer engagement. You'll write production-grade software, work directly with customers on real technical challenges, serve as a bridge between what customers need and what the product team delivers, and collaborate closely with the Founder and CEO and the broader team, with direct visibility into product direction, customer relationships, and company strategy. Strong communication skills are essential. You know how to translate complex technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences, and you're as comfortable in a customer conversation as you are in a code review. If you thrive on variety, move well through ambiguity, ask the right questions early, and use modern tools including AI to build smarter and faster, this role was built for you. The position is currently fully remote, with a planned transition to a hybrid model. Candidates should be based in or around Toronto, as the role will include periodic in-person meetings at our downtown Toronto office.
