Responsibilities
Design and build clean, high-quality, high-performance backend systems in PythonDevelop and support web applications, APIs, database integration, and new functionality across Uptick's product suiteContribute to Uptick's AI-driven initiatives, including scheduling and inbox automation toolingUse AI-assisted development tools (Claude) as a core part of your workflow, while maintaining full understanding and ownership of the code producedCoordinate cross-functionally to ensure project delivery meets business objectives and quality standardsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering standardsTake on architectural and refactoring work where needed, strengthening the long-term health of existing systems
Qualifications
