Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior DevOps & Python Platform Engineering Specialist to design, build, and operate highly available enterprise content management platforms supporting Application Enterprise Content Management (AECM) and End User Content Management (EUCM) use cases.
The role will support platforms including Alfresco, SharePoint Embedded, Box, Google Workspace, and related services, with a strong focus on Python development, automation, platform engineering, reliability, and enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain scalable content management solutions, integrations, automation, and platform tooling using Python.Lead technical design discussions and create architecture and technical documentation.Develop reusable libraries, automation frameworks, and engineering tools.Conduct code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers.Platform & Infrastructure
Deploy, configure, maintain, and operate Alfresco ECM platforms.Evaluate and support technologies such as SharePoint Embedded and Snowflake for enterprise content management use cases.Work closely with vendor engineering and support teams.Maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, release documentation, and operational runbooks.Troubleshoot complex issues spanning application, web, database, networking, authentication, and infrastructure layers.Operations & Reliability
Participate in an engineering on-call rotation.Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and production issues.Perform root-cause analysis and communicate resolution plans to technical and business stakeholders.Analyze incidents and operational trends to identify opportunities for platform improvement.Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, automation, and security.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering, application development, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.Working knowledge of Java.3+ years supporting Linux and/or Windows environments.Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and load balancing.Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems.Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices.Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
