Hatch is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Highways and Bridges group to join the team in Thunder Bay. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients, developing our team, and pursuing new opportunities to bolster our practice. Responsibilities Coordinates, organizes and controls the activities of all project staff;Establishes and maintains communications with MTO to ensure delivery of project requirements as per contractual agreements;Provide guidance of technical staff, client liaison, and technical reviews, preparation of project specifications and technical reports and solving complex engineering problems;Assists in negotiating extra work and makes minor design changes;Reviews contract design package to ensure calculations agree with contract;Prepare project construction report;Foster a spirit of enthusiasm and client focus;Mentor staff and project teams. Qualifications Must have a Civil Engineering university degree or equivalent;Must be registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario;As a minimum, must have 15 years’ experience with knowledge of current MTO standards pertaining to highway design and traffic engineering;Must have experience directly related to MTO projects (relevant experience to meet MTO RAQS qualifications for any of Highway Engineering functional category would be a strong asset);Must have working relationship with the MTO;Sound knowledge of highway engineering and construction principles, methods and practices;Knowledge of project management principles and practices;Demonstrated experience with project management, design, and contract administration;Strong oral and written communication skills are essential;Able to multi-task and meet various project deadlines. Pay range: $115,000 - $145,000 At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.
