Our client is a leading global organisation operating at the intersection of medical devices, healthcare technology, and healthcare information management.
They are seeking a talented Platform Engineer – AI & Multi-Cloud Platforms to help build and operate the cloud platforms that power critical healthcare, data, and AI solutions.

The Role
As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimising cloud-native platform services that support cloud, data, and AI workloads.
You'll work closely with engineering teams to provide automation, self-service capabilities, operational excellence, and platform reliability while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and operate cloud-native platform services supporting cloud, data, and AI workloads.Design and implement automation and standardised deployment practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.Establish platform standards for configuration, security, observability, performance, and reliability.Enable engineering teams through self-service tooling, reusable platform services, technical guidance, and best practices.Monitor and maintain the health, security, and performance of platform services.Contribute to operational support processes and participate in an on-call rota supporting business-critical services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, infrastructure, security, and product functions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years' experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar technical role.Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes platforms and containerised applications.Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or equivalent.Experience with GitOps methodologies and modern CI/CD technologies.Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and operational support of cloud-native platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Desirable Experience
Experience supporting multi-cloud environments and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).Background working within healthcare technology, healthcare IT, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries.Understanding of healthcare data governance, compliance requirements, security controls, and handling of sensitive patient data.Experience supporting complex enterprise or mission-critical environments.Strong collaboration, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement mindset.
