Description

We're hiring a Senior AI Engineer for a leader in the iGaming industry based in Malta. They're building the next generation of AI powered voice systems. Real time, natural conversations with players at scale, combining Speech to Text, LLM reasoning and Text to Speech into low latency, production grade voice pipelines. Responsibilities: 🔹 Design and build real time voice AI pipelines 🔹 Develop low latency streaming systems using tools like LiveKit 🔹 Implement Voice Activity Detection and turn taking logic 🔹 Engineer prompting strategies for multi turn conversational AI 🔹 Integrate LLMs with voice interfaces for agent assist and autonomous interactions 🔹 Optimise for latency, interruption handling and conversational naturalness Requirements: 🔹 5+ years in software engineering with exposure to real time or AI systems 🔹 Hands on experience with STT, TTS and VAD 🔹 Experience with LiveKit or similar (WebRTC, media pipelines) 🔹 Strong LLM and prompt engineering experience 🔹 Proficient in Python 🔹 Experience deploying production grade systems
