Description

Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL (hybrid / remote) location. PeopleTec is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the TAPO H47 ER Analytics effort. The candidate will support deployment, automation, configuration, monitoring, reliability, security, and lifecycle management of infrastructure and services supporting Rubix analytical capabilities. The role works with developers, technical leads, security personnel, and infrastructure stakeholders to automate delivery, maintain reliable environments, and improve operational resilience. Duties Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD processes supporting Rubix applications and services. Deploy and manage containerized applications and supporting infrastructure. Automate build, test, configuration, deployment, and operational workflows. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for repeatable provisioning. Configure source control, branching, code review, and deployment workflows. Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or comparable tools. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, backup, and recovery capabilities. Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, containerization, and deployment issues. Support access control, security hardening, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps activities. Qualifications Required Skills/Experience: 8+ years progressively responsible for IT infrastructure, systems administration, cloud, networking, or DevOps experience. Hands-on CI/CD pipeline implementation/administration experience. Docker or comparable containerization experience. Kubernetes or comparable orchestration experience. Infrastructure as Code experience such as Terraform. Git-based source control and development workflow experience. Scripting/automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or similar. Windows and/or Linux administration; cloud infrastructure, networking, access control, monitoring, and troubleshooting experience. Travel: Less than 10% Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire (or able to obtain), and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements Associate degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant technical experience. 8+ years of relevant professional IT/infrastructure experience Physical Job Requirements None beyond normal requirements associated with office, remote, and occasional customer-site work.
