PHP Developer

PHP Developer (W2 ONLY / on site) Location: Covington, Kentucky (open to relocation, local candidates preferred) The ideal candidate is a PHP developer who has experience providing Mend support to active legacy applications in the environment, while providing support to the migration to Angular/Node.js. These typescript competencies, along with Kubernetes and experience deploying applications on their own to Azure would greatly support the staff. Minimum of 7 years of software engineering development experience.Proven hands-on experience working with PHP 8, Node.js, NPM, Angular 17+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, REST APIs, and modern web application development.Proven hands-on experience developing Angular applications using Standalone Components, Signals, and modern control flow syntax.Strong experience maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting legacy PHP applications.Experience modernizing monolithic applications and migrating functionality from PHP-based architectures to Angular and Node.js solutions.Proven experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating application security vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10 risks.Experience implementing secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection controls.Experience with relational databases including MySQL.Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.
