We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our fintech client and contribute to the development and evolution of a large-scale payment platform. You will play a key role in designing and implementing new features, driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and collaborating within an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend features and platform enhancements.Take technical ownership of new functionalities, from design through implementation and delivery.Contribute to the architecture and continuous technical evolution of the platform.Ensure code quality by following development standards, best practices, and clean coding principles.Develop and maintain RESTful microservices using modern Java technologies.Write automated tests and promote TDD and BDD practices.Produce clear technical documentation and actively share knowledge within the team.Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve production and development issues efficiently.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions on time. Technical Skills: Strong commercial experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.Solid understanding of object-oriented design, TDD/BDD, and Agile development practices.Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD environments.Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with AWS and cloud-native applications.Nice to Have: Knowledge of clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium/WebDriver) and development tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins).Familiarity with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, XML/JSON, and large-scale database environments. 🚀 Do you recognize yourself in the "Who" and represent the "What"?
