Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend applications and services.Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.Build reliable and performant APIs that support business-critical applications and integrations.End-to-End Feature Ownership Take ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and production support.Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define technical solutions and deliver business value.Ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.Platform Integrations Develop and maintain integrations between communication systems, AI-powered services, internal platforms, and third-party applications.Design and implement API-driven solutions that enable seamless information exchange across platforms.Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and highly available.Distributed Systems & Architecture Contribute to the design and evolution of distributed application architectures.Participate in technical discussions around system design, event-driven architectures, scalability, and performance optimization.Support the ongoing modernization and expansion of platform capabilities.AI & Emerging Technologies Collaborate on the development and integration of AI-enabled solutions that enhance customer and partner support experiences.Explore new technologies and innovative approaches that improve operational efficiency and solution effectiveness.Contribute ideas and technical expertise to AI-focused initiatives and product enhancements.Cloud & DevOps Engineering Build and support applications within cloud-based environments.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.Ensure software solutions are observable, secure, and operationally reliable.Quality & Best Practices Create and maintain comprehensive unit tests and automated testing solutions.Follow software engineering best practices that balance speed, maintainability, and quality.Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development standards.Collaboration & Agile Delivery Work collaboratively within agile development teams.Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, sprint activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.Communicate effectively with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.Professional experience in backend software engineering and application development.Strong expertise in C# and .NET application development.Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and service-based applications.Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and web service architectures.Experience designing scalable and maintainable backend systems. Technical Skills Backend Development Strong experience with C#, .NET, and MVC-based application development.Expertise in API design, development, and integration.Knowledge of modern backend development patterns and architectural principles.Software Engineering Fundamentals Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.Experience with domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.Ability to develop maintainable, scalable, and robust software solutions.Cloud & DevOps Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and engineering workflows.Familiarity with cloud-native application development.Testing & Quality Assurance Experience developing meaningful unit tests and automated testing solutions.Understanding of software quality practices and test-driven development concepts.Monitoring & Observability Knowledge of application monitoring, observability, logging, and performance metrics.Ability to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability using operational insights.
