DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Experience: 6+ Years Skills: DevOps, CICD pipeline, monitoring and logging tools, cloud plateform. Location: Fort Mill, SC Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 6-15 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Fort Mill. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps knowledge and a passion for automating processes, improving system reliability, and enhancing deployment efficiency. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software solutions. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide operational support.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize resource utilization.Develop and maintain configuration management systems using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle.Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems.Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance team productivity and software quality.Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.Familiarity with database management and optimization.Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.If you are a motivated DevOps professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!
