Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About The Role In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating Azure-based cloud infrastructure, driving automation initiatives, and establishing DevOps best practices to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across the platform. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on Microsoft AzureBuild, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and deployment processesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using modern automation toolsManage and support containerized environments and Kubernetes-based platforms, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, Product, and Architecture teams to define and implement cloud platform solutionsDrive infrastructure governance, cloud standards, and operational best practices across the projectIdentify infrastructure risks and proactively implement mitigation strategiesParticipate in architectural discussions and platform-level technical decisionsMentor team members and promote DevOps culture, automation, and engineering excellence Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar roleStrong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud servicesExperience designing and operating cloud-native and distributed systemsSolid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release automation practicesStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworksHands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environmentsExperience managing and supporting cloud infrastructure in production environmentsKnowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutionsUnderstanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practicesExperience supporting highly available, scalable, and resilient systems SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
