Join us in our offices in Madrid to be part of a highly collaborative project.Your Impact as Senior QA Engineer: What are you going to doAs a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality APIs that power critical customer journeys across our digital ecosystem. Working closely with developers, architects, and product teams, you will drive quality from the earliest stages of API design through to production release. By identifying risks early, automating validation processes, and providing clear insight into product quality, you will help accelerate delivery while ensuring a seamless and trustworthy experience for our customers.Key responsibilities include:Design, develop, and maintain automated API test frameworks and test suites, ensuring comprehensive validation of functional and non-functional requirements.Review API designs, specifications, and user stories early in the development lifecycle to identify quality risks, edge cases, and potential failure points before implementation begins.Execute exploratory, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, providing detailed evidence of successful outcomes and clear documentation of defects, including reproduction steps, impact analysis, and recommendations.Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners to define quality standards, acceptance criteria, and test strategies that support reliable and scalable API solutions.Analyze test results, production incidents, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and proactively prevent defects from reaching customers.The team you’ll join:You will join the Mediation Layer team, a diverse and highly collaborative group of more than 20 professionals, including Senior Developers, API Designers, Senior QA Engineers, and other supporting specialists. Also, every team works under agile methodology.Who You Are:You have proven experience in API testing and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of API architectures, integration testing, and defect management.You have experience working in Agile environments and collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and product teams to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.You have hands-on experience with test automation, and proficiency in at least one programming language.
