DevOps & Platform Engineer – CI/CD & AWS
GFT Technologies is looking for a DevOps & Platform Engineer to join a high-impact team focused on modernizing CI/CD practices and cloud infrastructure within the Alternative Asset Management industry.
In this role, you will design, build, migrate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, with a particular focus on transitioning from legacy tools such as Jenkins and TeamCity to GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runners.
You will work closely with engineering and business teams to deliver scalable cloud and infrastructure solutions, automate processes, and support the continuous evolution of the platform.

What you’ll do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective cloud and infrastructure solutions for business and technical challenges.Design, build, migrate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and TeamCity.Lead the migration of existing pipelines from Jenkins and TeamCity to GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runners.Develop reusable GitLab CI/CD components, templates, and automation patterns to improve standardization and developer experience.Automate manual and repetitive tasks through scripting using Python, Bash, C#, or other programming languages.Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and related tools.Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, DynamoDB, ECS, and IAM to build, configure, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments.Apply cloud security standards and best practices throughout infrastructure and CI/CD migrations.Support multiple engineering teams with cloud, infrastructure, deployment, and automation requirements.Identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization, automation, scalability, and cloud cost optimization.Troubleshoot technical issues across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes.Contribute to technical decisions and propose innovative solutions to improve platform capabilities and engineering efficiency.Provide occasional off-hours support for critical incidents when required.What you bring
Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, including GitLab Runners and reusable pipeline components/templates.Experience working with Jenkins and/or TeamCity, ideally including pipeline migration.Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly EC2, S3, VPC, DynamoDB, ECS, and IAM.Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, C#, or similar languages.Understanding of cloud security principles and secure infrastructure practices.Experience supporting multiple development or engineering teams in cloud and infrastructure environments.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Nice to have
