Join EY and shape your future with confidence. About The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Java Developer (Associate/Senior Associate) to join our delivery team. The candidate will be involved in the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications across various client engagements and digital transformation initiatives. Your Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applicationsParticipate in application enhancement, bug fixing, and system optimization activitiesDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend servicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA testers, architects, and project managersSupport system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activitiesEnsure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and SDLC processesPrepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing activitiesTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions To qualify for the role, you must have Associate: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines1–3 years of experience in Java developmentStrong understanding of Core Java and object-oriented programming conceptsFamiliarity with:Spring Boot / Spring FrameworkREST APIsSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)Git or version control toolsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilities Senior Associate: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline3–5 years of hands-on Java development experienceExperience working on enterprise-scale applications and client-facing projectsStrong experience with:Spring Boot / Microservices architectureAPI integrationsPerformance optimization and troubleshootingCI/CD pipelinesAbility to independently manage development tasks and mentor junior team membersExposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology Ideally, you’ll also have Experience in Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes experience, Frontend exposure (Angular/React) is a plusStrong learning agility and adaptabilityExperience working in a fast-paced consulting environmentClient-centric mindset with strong stakeholder management skillsPassion for technology and continuous improvement What We Look For Highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.An effective communicator, you’ll be a confident leader equipped with strong people management skills and a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization.
