About the job: We are seeking a talented, open-minded, and ambitious Junior Software Engineer (Backend / Mobile) to join our Listings (Mobile Apps) team. You won't just be writing code for the sake of it; you'll be a key contributor to the critical path of our iOS and Android apps, directly impacting millions of users through our Listings and Filters features. The team is currently driving a massive transformation, migrating our backend services to Kotlin and JVM, while building a next-generation shopping experience that will adapt the UI to users’ needs and use cutting-edge technologies (e.g. LLMs) to refine their search results and help them select the perfect product on our shopping platform. Your mission? To accelerate experimentation and deployment in our mobile apps by combining strong backend capabilities with a passion for mobile development. You’ll get a unique opportunity to dive deep into Kotlin, Spring Boot 4, and Spring GraphQL by providing data and building application UI on the backend, while dedicating a significant part of your time to mastering mobile technologies (Android and/or iOS).
