🚀 Software Engineer – C#/.NET 📍 Reading | Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days WFH) 💰 £40,000 - £50,000 We're working with a client in Reading who is looking for a Software Engineer with 3+ years' experience to join their growing engineering team. You'll be building and shipping features across the full development lifecycle, working closely with senior engineers to sharpen your skills while taking real ownership of your own work . If you've got solid C#/.NET experience and you're keen to keep growing your technical skillset in a supportive team environment, we want to hear from yo u. 💻 What You'll Be Do ing● Design, build and maintain applications using C# and . NET● Write clean, well-tested code and take part in regular code revi ews● Contribute to and help maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deploym ent● Work across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and supp ort● Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product and QA to deliver reliable relea ses● Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance iss ues● Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups and other Agile ceremon ies● Contribute ideas and feedback to help shape technical decisions and best practi ces 🎯 What You'll B ring● 3+ years' hands-on experience with C# and .NET● Some exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated tes ting● Good understanding of core software engineering principles (OOP, design patterns, clean c ode)● Comfortable working in an Agile team environ ment● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to de tail● Good communication skills, with a willingness to learn and take feed back ✨ Nice to Have● Experience with Docker and containeris ation● Familiarity with Azure cloud ser vices● Exposure to SQL/relational data bases● Interest in growing towards a more senior technical role 🌍 The SetupThis is a hybrid role, based in Reading with an expectation of 2 days onsite and 3 days working from home each week.
