About the RoleWe are looking for a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for Oidot’s products.
You will work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and product teams to build reliable services and turn business requirements into production-ready software.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs.Build and maintain databases, data models, and backend architecture.Integrate third-party APIs and external services.Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.Develop efficient data-processing and business-logic workflows.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.Debug production issues and improve system performance.Collaborate with frontend, data science, and product teams.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.Deploy and maintain backend services in cloud environments.RequirementsStrong proficiency in Python or another backend programming language.Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL or other relational databases.Understanding of Git and software development workflows.Familiarity with authentication, APIs, and application security.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Nice to HaveExperience with Docker and CI/CD.Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.Knowledge of Redis, message queues, or asynchronous processing.Experience with microservices architecture.Familiarity with machine-learning/data-science systems.Experience deploying production applications.What You'll GetOpportunity to work on real-world technology products.Exposure to backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.Ownership of meaningful technical projects.Collaborative and fast-paced working environment.Opportunity to grow into a senior backend/engineering role.To apply: Send your CV and a brief introduction describing your backend development experience and relevant projects.
