Role Description The Internal Systems & Web Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan, within AYT Industrial’s Technology Department. The main purpose of this role is to develop and maintain practical digital solutions for the company, including internal systems, web-based portals, business applications, and company websites. The successful candidate will work with different departments to understand their requirements and turn them into simple, functional, and user-friendly digital solutions. This may include developing new applications or websites, improving existing ones, digitizing manual processes, and providing ongoing technical support and maintenance. We are looking for a hands-on developer who can manage development tasks from understanding the requirement through development, testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement. The focus is on building reliable and practical solutions without unnecessary complexity. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications, portals, and digital tools.Develop, maintain, update, and troubleshoot company websites.Build new websites or web pages when required.Improve the functionality, usability, and performance of existing websites and applications.Work with different departments to understand their requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.Develop solutions that digitize and simplify manual or repetitive business processes.Handle development projects from requirement gathering through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Develop and maintain databases required for web applications and internal systems.Work with APIs and system integrations when required.Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain existing applications and websites.Ensure developed solutions are secure, reliable, and easy to use.Provide basic documentation and support for developed systems.Recommend practical technology solutions that can improve efficiency across the company. Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in software development, web development, or a related field.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience developing web applications and websites.Good understanding of front-end and back-end development.Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one back-end programming language or framework.Experience working with databases such as SQL.Familiarity with APIs and system integrations.Ability to understand business requirements and turn them into functional technical solutions.Ability to independently handle small to medium development tasks from start to finish.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Willingness to learn new technologies when required.Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
