Essential Duties And Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIsLead or contribute to service architecture design, particularly in microservices and event-driven systemsOptimize data queries and system performance for relational and NoSQL databasesBuild and manage CI/CD workflows using Docker and GitIntegrate AI-related features (e.g., model inference APIs, vector databases, NLP pipelines) into backend systemsParticipate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality and maintainabilityCollaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutionsMaintain and troubleshoot production systems and participate in on-call support when needed Qualifications Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (FastAPI)Solid understanding of Git-based development workflowsExperience with Docker for environment setup, packaging, and deploymentFamiliarity with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)Understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), caching, and performance best practicesKnowledge or experience with AI/ML systems (e.g., integrating ML APIs, handling inference pipelines)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in Go or Java for backend development (Python remains the top priority)Basic frontend knowledge (JavaScript/TypeScript with Vue or React)Familiarity with distributed systems tools (e.g., Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ)Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana)Hands-on experience deploying ML models as APIs or integrating LLMs EEO Statement Supermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
