Position: Backend Developer - Java & Python
Location: Toronto Ontario
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.Design, build, and enhance RESTful APIs to support business and customer-facing applications.Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented Java code following industry best practices.Develop and maintain Python scripts and services for automation, data processing, and integrations.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed environments.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and maintainability.Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in backend services.Support cloud-native deployments and contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.Contribute to technical design discussions, system architecture improvements, and continuous innovation initiatives.
