GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT

Job DescriptionAs a General Ledger Accountant, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the general ledger accounts for the various entities within Entain Belgium. Working alongside the Accounting & Tax teams, you will be involved in month-end closings, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring and tax compliance, to ensure that financial reporting is reliable and in line with legal requirements. Key Responsibilities Carry out monthly and annual closing activities, including accounting entries, accrued liabilities and reconciliationsWork closely with the Tax team on the preparation of direct and indirect tax matters, including VAT and corporation tax returnsProvide support to the Accounts Payable team with regard to procurementAssist the Accounting team with day-to-day cash flow managementSupport the Accounting team in monitoring payroll through to its integration into the general ledgerPrepare monthly analyses of balance sheet accounts, cost centres and variances identified
