You will work closely with Delivery Team Leads, client-facing colleagues, designers, testers and other developers to deliver reliable, accessible and maintainable web applications for customer projects. The role is hands-on across front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on modern .NET, Azure-hosted solutions and practical use of AI tools such as Claude within agreed team processes. The ideal candidate will be a solid mid-level Full Stack Developer who has a decent base of experience within the industry, or from adjacent problem spaces. Key Responsibilities And Duties Contribute to the delivery of customer projects using the Forrit platform and associated toolingBuild, enhance and support full-stack web applications across front-end and back-end componentsDevelop back-end services and application features using C#, ASP.NET Core and modern .NET, primarily .NET 8 and .NET 10Work with Azure-hosted services and deployment processes to support secure, scalable customer solutionsImplement high-quality front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and relevant web frameworks where requiredTranslate design outputs into accessible, responsive and maintainable user interfaces that meet client requirementsBuild websites, headless applications and application features that are inclusive and accessible, aligned with WCAG standards and customer accessibility expectationsTake part in sprint planning, refinement and estimation so delivery work is clearly understood and achievableContribute to solution design discussions, helping balance customer needs, delivery timelines and technical qualityProvide ongoing support for customer sites and applications, including bug fixes, performance improvements and small enhancementsUse AI-assisted tools such as Claude responsibly within agreed Forrit processes to improve productivity, code quality, documentation and delivery consistencyCollaborate with QA, product, delivery and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and keep project delivery moving smoothlyShare knowledge with colleagues and contribute to a positive engineering culture focused on quality, learning and continuous improvement Skills And Experience Strong experience developing with C# and ASP.NET CoreGood working knowledge of modern .NET, especially .NET 8, with awareness of .NET 10 and its direction of travelExperience building maintainable front-end solutions using HTML, CSS and JavaScript or TypeScriptExperience with at least one modern front-end framework or library, such as Angular or ReactUnderstanding of API design, integrations and working with structured dataAbility to write scalable, performant, testable and reusable codeGood understanding of accessibility, responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityExperience working in an Agile delivery team environmentComfortable using developer tooling, source control and peer review processesClear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics in plain language to colleagues and customersA pragmatic approach to problem solving, balancing technical quality with delivery needs Nice to have Experience delivering customer-facing projects in regulated or enterprise environmentsExperience with content management systems or large-scale web platformsExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar, within controlled engineering processes Behaviours and ways of working Customer-focused: understands that delivery quality is measured by customer outcomes, not just completed codeCollaborative: works well with developers, testers, designers, delivery leads and customer-facing teamsAccountable: takes ownership of assigned work and communicates early when risks or blockers appearCurious: keeps learning as Forrit's platform, Microsoft .NET, Azure and AI-assisted delivery practices evolveQuality-minded: values readable code, accessibility, testing, security and maintainability.
