Deadline Date: Monday 24 August 2026 Requirement: Software Development Engineer Location: The Hague, NL Full Time On-Site: Yes Time On-Site: 100% Total Scope of the request (hours): 436 Required Start Date: 29 September 2026 End Contract Date: 31 December 2026 Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET Duties & Role: Software Development Support in Delivery of Integrated Command and Control (ICC) Related Gap Capability Work Packages Requirements Skills, Knowledge & Experience: The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance Recent experience in development, deployment, and maintenance of server-side logic:Proficiency in Java and Python,Solid SQL knowledge and data schema design,Good understanding of Git for code versioning, CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab, rigorous automated testing,Experience with Linux operating system,Experience with container engines (Podman/Docker)Recent experience in translation of UI/UX designs into responsive web applications:Experience with web application frameworks like Angular or ReactLegacy application experience: debugging issues in older code bases, modernizing legacy systems Desirable: Recent experience with Hibernate, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Ansible, Kubernetes, Recent experience with event streaming platforms; Experience with Command and Control applications, Recent experience with Spring framework, Familiarity with ICC
