Position Overview We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our London-based technology team and help shape the systems at the heart of a fast-moving global commodities business. Sitting at the intersection of commodities trading and technology, this hands-on role offers the chance to work directly with traders, analysts and engineers. You will build and enhance practical software that supports trading, logistics, accounting, financing and operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative Python developer who enjoys solving real-world problems and wants to develop deep expertise in commodities. Software Engineering is central to Javelin's success. The team delivers and maintains the trading and risk-management systems used across the business, from front-office trading to logistics, accounting, financing and operations. You will gain broad exposure to the commodities lifecycle while contributing to technology that has an immediate commercial impact.
