Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to provide operational support and platform engineering services for a business-critical application environment. This role focuses on infrastructure support, cloud services, database administration, automation, security requests, and application operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting enterprise platforms across Windows Server, AWS cloud environments, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and SQL Server databases. OpenLink Endur experience is not required but will be considered a strong advantage. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, business processes, and application domains. 2.Job Responsibilities : • Provide day-to-day support for business-critical applications and platform services. • Manage infrastructure-related requests, incidents, and operational activities. • Support Windows Server administration, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting. • Maintain and support AWS cloud infrastructure and related services. • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. • Support SQL Server databases, including troubleshooting, query analysis, data validation, and performance investigations. • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell. • Investigate and resolve application, integration, and platform issues. • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for recurring incidents. • Support security-related requests, access management, and compliance requirements. • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, security, and business teams to resolve production issues. • Create and maintain operational documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles. • Participate in system upgrades, deployments, releases, and maintenance activities. • Support monitoring, alert management, and service reliability improvements. 3.Primary skill set :- • Infrastructure Engineering (Windows Server Administration, System Support, Troubleshooting) • Cloud & Automation (AWS, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, GitHub actions) • Database Support & Administration (Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Query Analysis, Performance Troubleshooting) 4.Nice to Have skill sets : • OpenLink Endur knowledge or ETRM platform experience (strong advantage) • Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) domain knowledge • PowerShell scripting • Java application support and troubleshooting • Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD tools • Linux administration • Monitoring and observability tools (Datadog.) • ITIL / Service Management experience • Enterprise application support experience • Python (Strong advantage) 5.Soft skill sets : • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Fast learner with the ability to quickly acquire new technologies and business knowledge • Curious mindset and willingness to learn complex enterprise applications • Strong ownership and accountability • Excellent troubleshooting and investigative skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a production support environment • Flexible and adaptable to changing business and technology requirements Additional Requirements: 1.
