As an Senior Software Engineer, you'll design, build and evolve the Identity and Access Management platform that protects how customers and employees securely access Bigbank's services. You'll influence architecture, drive technical decisions, and own solutions throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation to production support. Working primarily with Java and Spring Boot, while also contributing across technologies such as Node.js and Kubernetes, you'll help build secure authentication and authorization services that thousands of customers rely on every day. In this role you will Design, build and maintain secure Identity & Access Management (IAM) services.Develop authentication, authorization and identity lifecycle solutions.Design scalable, secure and maintainable software architectures.Implement functional, non-functional and security requirements.Build automated tests and continuously improve software quality.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.Participate in technical design discussions, architecture decisions and code reviews.Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to deliver secure software solutions.Take ownership of solutions throughout their entire lifecycle - from design to production support.Continuously improve engineering practices, system performance and operational excellence. Our expectations for you We believe you'll succeed in this role if you have: Strong experience developing software using Java and Spring Boot.Experience developing secure software and working with authentication, authorization or Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.Experience designing and building distributed systems, microservices and event-driven architectures.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.Strong commitment to automated testing and software quality.Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean code and design patterns.Good understanding of secure software development practices.Experience working in Agile engineering teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good English language skills.Currently residing in Estonia and able to work from Estonia.At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
