In this role, you combine hands-on software engineering with real-world machine interaction, contributing directly to high-impact applications in semiconductor manufacturing and astronomy. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the next generation of our software platform in close collaboration with our US-based parent company. What you will do As a Software Engineer, you are part of the Software & Controls team within the Development & Engineering department. You work in a multidisciplinary environment where software, physics, and mechatronics come together. Your key responsibilities: Develop robust software that enables customers to operate high-precision machines effectivelyWork across the full software stack, with an initial focus on integrating existing systems into the QED platformCollaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands and the United States on architecture and implementationContribute to improving and extending the functionality of existing systemsTest and validate your software directly on machines in a hands-on environment What we offer At QED Technologies Europe, you’ll work in an international high-tech environment with short communication lines, a collaborative culture, and plenty of room for personal and professional growth.
