Tasks What You Will Do Design, develop, and maintain backend services using modern .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core 8), with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and clean architecture. Build and integrate messaging systems and background services, ensuring reliable, event‑driven communication across distributed components. Write and optimise MS SQL queries, indexes, and performance‑critical operations for high‑volume environments. Contribute to architectural discussions, technical design sessions, and product brainstorming, helping shape the future of our platform. Define and uphold engineering best practices across coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and system design. Drive continuous improvement, staying current with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks that can elevate our engineering capabilities. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, highly supportive environment where knowledge‑sharing is part of the culture. Requirements What You Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, API design, REST, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems. Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, MS SQL, SOA, and distributed caching technologies (e.g., Redis). Experience with Typescript or Python is considered an advantage. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A mindset built on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
