As a Fullstack Engineer (m/w/d), you’ll become a part of our Public Properties Engineering Team. It is the team behind Thieme’s public-facing web products and digital experiences. Your focus will be our Journal Product Pages, an important product area that connects users with journal and article-related information. You’ll work in an agile, product-oriented environment and contribute to a modern web application that combines editorial and marketing content, multilingual experiences, and integrations with internal and external systems. As part of our journey toward becoming a true product organization, you’ll help us build maintainable, scalable, and user-focused digital solutions while working closely with Product, UX, and other engineering colleagues. Bereich: IT Start: For the next possible date Vertragsdauer: unlimited Arbeitszeit: full-time (40h/Week) Your role & your impact Take ownership of the full development lifecycle from concept to production, including operations and continuous improvement of our services.Work closely with the Product Manager and UX to challenge ideas, clarify requirements, refine solutions, and deliver meaningful value.Contribute to frontend implementation, backend integration, CMS-driven content flows, data handling, testing, and operational quality.Support the continuous improvement of code quality, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and monitoring.Bring structure and a pragmatic engineering perspective into changing situations, evolving priorities, and unclear requirements.Mentor and support junior and less experienced colleagues to help them grow and succeed in their engineering journey.Actively contribute to our product-oriented engineering culture and help strengthen shared engineering practices across Public Properties. Your profile Tech Stack: TypeScript ∙ JavaScript · React · next.js · node.js Several years of hands-on experience building full-stack applications.Strong frontend engineering skills and solid backend understanding, especially around APIs, data flows, server-side logic, and integration topics.Good understanding of scalable, maintainable architecture and best practices in frontend and backend engineering.Experience with testing, accessibility, observability, incident awareness, and monitoring of production systems.Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a product-oriented organization.A proactive mindset combined with strong communication skills and a drive to make a meaningful impact What we offer you With the option of flexitime (40 hours/week for full-time employees) and mobile working within Germany, you can organise your own individual way of working.
