Description

Hi, We're a 35-person DevOps team (we call ourselves a "DevOps house", not an agency). Below you'll be able to find what we're looking for, and who we are (so you can decide if we're what you're looking for too). 😉 Sounds interesting, but you have questions? Email: paulina@letsgodevops.plAbout the role: We work with clients from startups to companies like World, AirHelp, TACEO, and SmartRecruiters. Our projects are infrastructure that actually has to work – there's no room for "almost works".We don't do bodyleasing – we work as a team. We don't "send" people to clients, we build solutions together as a team. This isn't a classic DBA role. You'll design, deploy, and operate production PostgreSQL environments – both cloud-managed and self-hosted – as part of our DevOps/Platform Engineering work, not as a siloed database function. You'll own replication, backups, point-in-time recovery, and performance tuning, and help us build an internal PostgreSQL platform / Database-as-a-Service solution. You'll work directly with clients and our DevOps team. No middlemen, no "pass it through the manager" – we work like adults. We're 100% remote.Who we're looking for:Required skills: Strong production experience running and operating PostgreSQL.Strong production experience running and operating PostgreSQL.Good working knowledge of SQL – you can read, analyse, and troubleshoot complex queries, not just write them.Practical experience with execution plans, indexing, locking, transactions, and isolation levels.Experience configuring and troubleshooting PostgreSQL replication (streaming and logical).Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and point-in-time recovery.Understanding of PostgreSQL internals – WAL, MVCC, vacuuming/autovacuum, checkpoints, connection management.Experience running highly available, business-critical database environments.Strong Linux systems engineering and troubleshooting skills.Experience with AWS, including RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, EC2, EBS, IAM, CloudWatch, and S3.Strong Infrastructure as Code skills, preferably Terraform.Automation skills – Go, Python, Bash, or honestly any language you're fluent in.Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and incident management.Polish C1 and English min. B2 (we work with international clients).Nice to have: Experience running self-managed PostgreSQL clusters (AWS, private cloud, or on-prem).Experience with Kubernetes and PostgreSQL operators (CloudNativePG, Zalando Postgres Operator, Crunchy Postgres for Kubernetes).Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or similar.Knowledge of database security, encryption, access control, and secrets management.Experience with major version upgrades, disaster recovery exercises, or multi-region database architectures.Familiarity with other relational or distributed databases. If you don't meet all requirements, we encourage you to apply anyway – it's always worth a shot! You meet all requirements and then some, so you're interested in a higher budget offer? Apply! We're open to negotiation. What we offer: 100% remote work.Negotiable salary if you're really good.Health insurance with PZU, fully covered by Let's Go DevOps.PZU Sport card.Development budget (courses, conferences, certifications – you decide).Equipment budget. We're waiting for your application!
