About The Role We are looking for a talented Process Engineer to drive process enhancements, resolve production challenges, and support skills development across our operations. Reporting to the Process Manager, you will help ensure our manufacturing processes consistently achieve safety, efficiency, quality, and cost performance targets in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What We Offer Competitive salary30 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysAviva PensionCompany bonus schemeFree on-site parkingElectric car charging facilitiesLife Assurance 4x annual salaryWestfield Health Cashback Healthcare Scheme and Rewards Scheme What You Bring Qualified to Degree level in engineering or manufacturing disciplineExperienced in the manufacturing industryPrevious experience of lean, CI & operational excellenceStrong analytical and data management skillsThe capability to work within a team What You Will Be Doing Contributing to the achievement of the factory’s safety, environmental, and sustainability targets by promoting safe working practices, meeting regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement initiativesContributing to successful completion of capex projects by specifying functional descriptions, being part of project teams and leading commissioning activitiesLeading detailed investigations into production and process issues, carrying out root cause analysis, involving cross-functional teams, and delivering robust, lasting solutionsPlanning, coordinating, and overseeing structured trials for materials, products, and processes, following Management of Change procedures and collaborating closely with stakeholders to optimise efficiency, quality, and consistencyDelivering measurable cost improvements by analysing Variable Production Costs (VPC), identifying opportunities for savings, and supporting the plant’s budgeting process with accurate, data-led inputMaintaining precise process settings, communicating operational changes effectively to stakeholders, updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a timely manner, and providing training to develop the skills and knowledge of production teamsPlaying a key role in factory shutdown and downtime planning by identifying critical cleaning, maintenance, and upgrade requirements, assisting with the successful commissioning of new equipment, and implementing initiatives to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and productivity About ROCKWOOL ROCKWOOL harnesses the natural power of stone to create innovative insulation and building solutions that make life safer, more sustainable, and more comfortable.
