5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.Experience working with production systems and large-scale applications.Experience/exposure to IT Security and Infrastructure Engineering.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.Strong Software Engineering fundamentals.Proficiency in Infrastructure, Application & Cloud Security (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience in Security Hardening, Vulnerability Assessment & RemediationKnowledge of Security Architecture & CI/CD SecurityExperience with Infrastructure Monitoring & LoggingKnowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM)Understanding of System Scalability & AvailabilityHands-on experience securing existing applications and infrastructure.Ability to identify security gaps and recommend practical improvements.Experience balancing security implementation with software development needs.Comfortable collaborating with Engineering teams in an Agile environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred industry experience: SaaS, Technology, Logistics Technology, Fintech, E-commerce, or high-traffic digital platforms.Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor.Experience supporting SOC 2 implementation or audits is a strong advantage.
