About The Role
We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our engineering team at Mobiles360.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our server-side infrastructure, APIs, and database systems.
This is a high-impact role where you will have the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems at scale and directly influence the architecture of a platform that millions of users rely on every day.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScriptArchitect and optimize database schemas and queries for MongoDB and other data storesCollaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and seamless integration strategiesImplement authentication, authorization, and security best practices across all servicesMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability under loadWrite clean, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code following agreed-upon standardsParticipate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-makingSet up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation workflowsEnsure data integrity, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans are in placeWork in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience in backend developmentStrong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScriptSolid experience with MongoDB and Mongoose ORMProven track record designing and building RESTful APIs at scaleFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AzureUnderstanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems principlesExperience with containerization technologies (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflowsStrong knowledge of security best practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and TLSExcellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
