Our flagship platform, Ella, is an AI-powered robotic barista deployed commercially across multiple markets. Behind Ella is SensoryOS, our cloud-based reasoning and orchestration layer that connects AI, robotics, edge devices, and operational systems. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and help build the software infrastructure that powers these systems at scale. About the Role As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications and backend services supporting Sensory AI's Physical AI infrastructure. You will work across both frontend and backend systems, building customer-facing interfaces, APIs, microservices, and integrations with cloud and edge systems. You will also work closely with our AI, robotics, product, and operations teams to turn product requirements into reliable, scalable software solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys working across the stack and solving real-world technical problems in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain frontend and backend components of production web applications.Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript.Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and server-side logic using Node.js and Express.Develop and integrate internal microservices and third-party APIs.Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modelling and integration.Integrate web and backend systems with cloud platforms, edge devices, and real-time data systems.Collaborate with AI, robotics, product, and operations teams to deliver features from concept through production.Participate in system design discussions and contribute to scalable and maintainable architecture.Optimize application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.Implement and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments.Improve engineering workflows, developer tooling, and deployment processes.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software architecture and engineering practices. Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development.Mid-level or above, with demonstrated experience independently developing, maintaining, and deploying production-grade applicationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong proficiency in Full Stack Software Development and experience building production-grade web applications.Strong frontend development skills with:React TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 Strong backend development skills with:Node.js Express Solid understanding of:RESTful APIs Microservice architecture Databases and data modelling Software architecture and design principles Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and logging.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with good attention to detail.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.Willingness to work fully on-site at our Elmina Business Park office in Sungai Buloh. Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills Experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core.Experience with Go (Golang).Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with Docker or containerized environments.Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or real-time data processing.Experience integrating software with IoT, edge computing, robotics, AI systems, or other physical systems.
