The candidate will also work with Architects on the Requirements and Design phases of solutions.

Experience with automation in a cloud environment: Develop or modify code to automate tasks or meet business requirements.
Along with automating repetitive tasks in a cloud environment.
Multi-cloud platform engineering, resource provisioning and achievement of site reliability engineering goals.
Microsoft: Active Directory (Group policies) hardening.
LAPS, Tiering, SCCM/WSUS, BitLocker, PKI/CA.
Working experience on Linux: Red Hat, Centos and Ubuntu Linux.
The candidate will work in collaboration with the Architecture team, Delivery team and Vendors towards understanding requirements and planning the delivery of the solution.
The candidate will also provide Level 3 support for Cloud, Windows and Linux workloads.
The Cloud Platform Engineer plays a leading role in scheduling implementation, liaising with all concerned to ensure that installation priorities are met, documentation is completed and disruption to the customer is minimized.
The Cloud Platform Engineer will also contribute to the design (both High Level and Low Level) under the guidance of the Architecture team.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
Operational
Management of Access privileges across Azure, Oracle and Google clouds Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and performance of Azure, Oracle and Google cloud based solutions.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform Implement and maintain cloud resource management, security, and monitoring solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Build, deployment/configuration of technical solution following best practices, hardening and testing of the solution.
Where required, to oversee the task performed by the vendor.
Reviews and automate tasks to meet business requirements and eliminate repetition.
Monitor and troubleshoot Azure, Oracle and Google environments to identify and resolve performance issues, system failures, and other operational issues.
Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud-based systems and applications.
Collaborate with DevOps and automation teams to streamline deployment processes and optimize Azure and Google infrastructure management.
Stay up to date with the latest Azure, Oracle and Google cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and security.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and security analysts, to ensure seamless integration and operation of Azure and Google services.
Provides Level 3 support for Cloud, Windows and Linux workloads which require detailed review and analysis backed by a structured thinking process.
Assists in the assessment and selection of suitable IT technology solutions to meet all or parts of specified requirements.
Ensure that appropriate performance and diagnostic tools are used to test the hardware and/or software and quantify and qualify changes made.
Ensure quality in internal and external client-oriented documentation.
Develop Technical standards and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and deployment documents.
Remediate issues flagged by Azure and Google cloud platform consoles.
Implement Azure Policy, Google Organization Policy, policy-as-code and other preventive governance controls.
Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Google Security Command Center and associated security services.
Configure encryption, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud KMS, certificate management and secrets-management services.
Maintain Grafana dashboards/alerts and Prometheus monitoring across all three clouds; manage log pipelines via Sentinel integration and App Insights.
Operate API management, Databases and integration platforms at control plane, including Day-2 operations.
Implement AI and Cloud resources following well architected framework recommendations.
Provision, Operate and Manage Kubernetes (Azure AKS, Google GKE, Oracle OKE) and Redhat Openshift clusters
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Accreditations e.g.
CKA/CKAD, Azure/GCP/OCI associate or professional level, ITIL foundation Skills and experience: At least 10 years related IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in Cloud environments.
Proven experience as an Azure, Oracle or Google Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus deploying and managing Azure/GCP/Oracle IaaS and PaaS infrastructure with an emphasis on Kubernetes workloads.
Experience in working in an environment to manage cloud platform operations at scale.
Experience in working in a senior technical support capacity (L3).
Effective communication, facilitation and influencing skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
Knowledge and experience implementing Microsoft infrastructure technologies with best practices.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Red Hat Open Shift.
Ability to write scripts in PowerShell and a good understanding of automation in the cloud.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
IT Infrastructure deployment experience including troubleshooting, design, and implementation.
Experience on transformation projects and successful transitions to implementation support teams.
Advantageous to have worked with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) implementations and management.
