Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join the MDG Tech team, responsible for designing, operating and supporting the end-to-end MDM integration flow between Syndigo and legacy systems, including inbound/outbound processing, mapping, error handling and operational monitoring.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.
Responsibilities
Take shared ownership in the development of the technical integration across Syndigo, legacy and downstream interfacesEnsure data quality and mapping consistency between inbound source files and outbound update messagesSupport production stability through monitoring, alerting and dead-letter queue handlingBuild a maintainable and scalable solution that supports both initial load and ongoing update flowsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business requirementsContribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and system reliability
Requirements
3+ years of experience in data engineering at a senior levelExpertise in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambdas, SQS, ECS, Fargate), Confluent Kafka and TerraformProficiency in Python and SQLSkills in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and JenkinsBackground in cloud integration and MDM/SyndigoSolid understanding of data flows, interfaces, mappings and production support considerationsAWS certificationEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higher
