Ecentria is seeking a full-time Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Senior Software Development Engineer is a technical team member that is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, deep technical knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to build reliable and scalable systems that meet business and technical needs. Duties & Responsibilities: The main focus is not only meeting company coding standards but actively suggest improvements that bring business or technical value. With the main responsibilities as follows: Participate in design discussions and reviews with architects and POs.Translate functional requirements into well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code that creates minimal to non-technical debt.Implement features and tasks following clean code principles and best practices.Ensure code adheres to quality standards and meets business need.Collaborate with QA engineers to define test strategies and scenarios.Work closely with Product Owners, Team Architect, and other engineers to deliver features end-to-end.Clearly document technical decisions and share knowledge with peers.Communicate progress, blockers, and risks proactively.Stay up to date with new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and best practices.Attend training sessions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing events.Actively seek feedback and opportunities for self-improvement.Contribute to internal tools, libraries, or technical initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field of study4+ years C# Developer experience (C#/.Net, Blazor)MS SQL server — must haveUnderstanding of object-oriented programming languages and design patternsVBA must have / or readiness to learn and write on VBA technologyPractical usage of agentic engineering toolsInitiative, desire to learn, willingness to adapt, and ability to work in a teamExperience working on cross team projectsUnderstanding of order and warehouse management systems is a great plusLeading a team will be a plusOpen source code or example projects that you're proud to share preferredFamiliarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Stash preferredKnowledge of web platforms and technologies, including Message Bus, HTTP, REST APIs, JSON preferred Compensation and Benefits: Annual Based Salary Range: $100-140KThe annual based range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
